I am a professional and mature 25 year old gay male looking for a room in a 2 BR in Manhattan as of April 1st.
My preferred neighborhoods are: Chelsea, SoHo, Hell’s Kitchen, but open to other neighborhoods too depending on the deal.
My budget is $800/month maximum. I am looking for a month-to-month agreement. (This could be long term or short term but at least a period of 3 months.)

PostHeaderIcon Hawaii Business Executive Looking for Studio Chelsea 1900

I am a Hawaii based business owner and executive in the financial services industry who is moving to NYC next week (arriving on Monday). I am not stranger to NYC, being a visitor multiple times a year for business trips, but this time, I am looking to make more of a permanent move.

I am looking for a studio apartment (or something small, clean, and easy to take care of) around Chelsea, SoHo, or the Financial District; my office is in 14 Wall. Here are some of the things I’m looking for in a unit:
• Reasonable rent (of course)
• Clean, low maintenance
• Semi-quiet with thick or sound-insulated walls (I am not a loud person, but I like listening to music and I don’t want to annoy any neighbors).
• Medium term lease (6 months to a year initial agreement, then we can renew afterwards)
• Preferably utilities included
• STRONGLY prefer furnished, but will consider nonfurnished if the price and location is right
• Convenient location near subway, gym, grocery store
• Brokers welcome, but I am not interested in BROKER FEE rentals at this time.

As a business owner and real estate investor myself, I also understand what it takes to be a good tenant. My family has owned, managed, and sold multiple residential properties in Hawaii for over 30 years. Here’s what I can offer you as a low-maintenence no-hassle tenant:
• Rent always paid on time (or early) in FULL. I have two dazzling rental references from a residential landlord and corporate landlord in Hawaii, available to you upon request.
• I have two years+ of tax information, both personal and corporate, showing steady and consistent income
• Single, young business professional – not much of a crazy clubber or partier. No drugs, no criminal/civil history. No pets.
• I will be looking at multiple units this coming Monday on 2-7-11, but I am ready to pay and sign a lease the same day if I like the unit and it’s a fair price. I can submit any documents you need for your credit and background checks immediately via email or fax.

Shoot me an email with your information if you have any units that you think will be a good fit for me. Again, I will be available on Monday to view it person and am ready to move in the same day if preferred.

Thanks.
