I am an actress and singer and I have lived in my home for four years. My lovely roommate moved out and I am looking for someone to take over her room. I am very busy and independent. The home is a 2 bedroom railroad apartment in the heart of Little Italy, Manhattan. We have two birds and a cat, they are happy. I use another hallway door to get into my room, so there is a lot of privacy.

It is close to every subway and Chinatown. Perfect for someone studying for the summer. The dates are flexible. I will be away some of the time.
The rent is $1000 for the bedroom. One month security deposit is required.

Hi Everyone !

Since my roommate is going back to France I am currently looking for another girl to share my room in a beautiful apartment !

About the apartment :
The apartment is really big, and most of all it is in a great location : it’s located in Midtown, 57th street between 6th and 7th avenue ! This means only 2 blocs away from Central Park and one bloc from 5th avenue.
It is a 3-bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms and washer and dryer available on the top floor. And there is a rooftop !
Intern, worker, student, everyone is welcome as long as you plan to stay at least until next Summer.
The rent is $800/month, which is perfect regarding the location!

About us :
Roomies are a French girl and an American boy who both have their own room. They are very nice, laid-back, and both work from 9am to 6pm.
If you are interested in living here, you would be sharing a cosy room with me. I am a 22 year-old girl, who comes from France. I am doing an internship here.
I’m looking for a nice girl, laid back, who likes having fun and hang out. The bedroom has a veeeery big closet; 2 beds fit in the room and it is still very comfortable.

Please answer this post only if you feel comfortable in sharing a room. It is an important choice for both of us, because if we share the room it is necessary to get on well.

Huge bedroom available in 3 BR apartment for sublet for Jan 15-June 15. Move-in potentially available Jan 1, possibly earlier. Room is 9.5 x 13 ft with a large window, very large closet, and lots of light.

Room is unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is fully furnished (you are welcome to bring kitchen things, etc., but don’t need to). Laundry is in the building, and the building has an elevator. Landlord office is across the street- landlord is lovely and very reliable.

The rest of the apartment includes 2 other bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen, small dining area and 1.5 bathrooms. Roommates are wonderful mid 20s professional females. Looking for someone who is respectful, clean, friendly and easy to get along with.

The apartment is located on 93rd Street. Just steps to Riverside Park and 2 blocks from 1, 2 and 3 trains so it is easy and fast to get to Columbia University, midtown, downtown or wherever you might need to be. Immediate area includes several grocery stores, a 24 hour CVS, 2 gyms, countless restaurants, and lots of shops.

Rent is $1200 a month plus cable/internet and utilities.

My large Chelsea 1 bedroom apt is available from mid December for a few months sublet, flexible on exact move in / out dates.

Located on the 3rd fl of a beautiful walk-up brownstone, less than 1 min walk to 2 major subway stops with a total of 10 express & local lines .

Fully furnished & equipped, there are 2 double beds (including a sofa bed in the living-room) but since the apt is a railroad style it’s not perfect for a roommate situation, best for singles or couples.

Extra long kitchen counter with a dishwasher, and even a washer & dryer ( in the apt ! ). There is also a dining room which can be used as a home office or dressing room as there is a enough space to eat in the kitchen.

HI! I am looking for a roommate to find a 2 bedroom apartment with on the west side, ideally in Chelsea. I’d ideally like to sign a lease in March, but can do February. Call me crazy for looking so early, but I want to make sure I find the right person. I am open to a male or female roommate. I’m 26 female professional who occasionally works from home on Friday’s. I am clean and organized and would like a roommate with similar qualities in the living space and especially the kitchen.

I like to work out (a bonus if you are health minded to help motivate each other) and when at home I like to relax and watch some TV or cook. I like to go out on the weekends and occasionally have girlfriends over for wine and food, but very low key. My budget is max of 1200.

While I am not looking to live with my best friend, it would be great to have a roommate that I get along well with and occasionally can hang out and feel comfortable with at the apartment. I don’t want someone who is just looking to get an apartment as fast as possible and doesn’t care who they live with. I have had amazing roommate experiences in the past and hope to have the same luck again.
