I am a 22 yr old straight male Columbia grad student looking for a share in Morningside Heights.
Need to move by Sept 1 and will stay for 1 year ( or longer).

I found a really great deal already, but the guy bailed on me so I keep having to post here. Hopefully I’ll be able to find something similar again and it will go through this time.

I’m looking for a room or a shared loft – or anything really – that I can rent for $500 a month and I can also pay a $500 security deposit so that’s $1,000 for the move in, in cash.

I’m a very clean and respectful 24-year-old male. I work in film production and will be gone a considerable amount. I’m really easy-going so the specifics of the living condition are very negotiable. Just as long as the roommates are respectful. I’m totally open minded.

I would like to find a place in Manhattan, but could move out to Astoria or Brooklyn if it’s close and a cool situation.

Please let me know if you having anything for me. I need to move August 16th. If there is a good place that is not available until September 1st, I might be able to work with that also.
