GWM seeks 1 or 2 roommates for apartment hunting HK UWS Chelsea S Harlem 1350
I’m a 27-year-old gay teacher in need of some potential roommates to go apartment hunting with. Ideally I’m looking for something in Hell’s Kitchen or on the UWS, and I hope that between the roommates we can find a nice, possibly luxury apartment.
I work for the Department of Education, and am usually out of the apartment from 7 until 8 each day. I enjoy having friends over for dinner, drinks, movies, etc. Also, because I work with kids, I have more patience than most and prefer to keep things neat, organized, and presentable.
If you’re new to the city, or have a lease ending soon like I do, hit me up so we can start our search together.
Location: HK, UWS, Chelsea, S. Harlem

CUNY StudentWorking Artist Needs Small Room starting in FebMarch Harlem Morningside 450
My name is Kristina.
I am going to be a transfer student to CUNY for Spring 2012.
I am looking to move in mid-Feb 2012 or March 2012.
I am very clean, honest, courteous.
I work as a personal assistant to a public accountant, and will begin working in
a pharmacy again soon.
I am not home during the day often, unless I’m doing research.
I study languages, write, and dance.
People find me to be an interesting roommate, for sure.
I am arriving from Paris in the end of January, and am hoping to find a
place by March. To note, I do not mind renting in a place with many
people, as long as there is the a notion of privacy and respect among
each others belongings.
An email will suffice…
Thanks, Merci,
Kristina

750 1br Room for rent in a 2 bedroom apt Female Preferred
Hi,
my roommate just moved out and I need a new one. The room is in a very spacious apt (8 rooms in total) located in the Queens neighborhood of Maspeth, close to Ridgewood and Middle Village. Beside the bedroom, tenant will also have all for him/herself a huge walk-in closet (so big it could be converted into a studio) and another big room.
Room Needed Harlem Morningside 800
The rent is negotiable; I am willing to pay between 700-850. I am a licensed New York teacher, currently working as a tutor. I also play guitar and give guitar lessons (I am working on building my lessons’ business). I was told Sunday (Jan 1st), I have to move out of the room I am renting, because it is being converted into an office space. I am seeing who is looking for a roommate and where I may be a good fit. I can move in February 1st. I prefer to have just one other roommate. I strongly prefer to stay between the North End of Central Park and St. Nicholas Park in Harlem, but I am open to live anywhere that will work. A little about me, I am great with dogs, hold a Master’s of Education, and need to move somewhere I can practice acoustic guitar, I also hold 2 teaching licenses— one in the State of New York and one in Hawaii. I am good at keeping a clean kitchen and bathroom. I do not drink, smoke or use drugs. If interested call 646-288-6296 or email me. Have great references. Thanks _Martin

1500 Rommates Wanted for Feb 15March 1st Move In
Hi,
I am a young (mid-20’s) professional female looking for a roommate or rommates (male or female) to look for an apartment together for a Feb15/March 1st move in date. I work in investment banking in Midtown and would like to live in the East Village, Murray Hill, Chelsea, Gramercy or LES. I am not opposed to UES, as long as it is close to downtown transportation to make the commute easy in the morning! I currently live in a large studio and have found that living alone in the city is pretty boring and extremely expensive. The max rent that I would like to spend is 1500 though I can go a little higher for the right place. I live in a luxury doorman building now and have found that a doorman in the city is really not necessary, an elevator is key though!
About me: I like to go out on the weekends, have a lot of friends all over Manhattan and I like to explore difference neighborhoods. I don’t have people over to party and am very low key during the week sticking to a pretty usual routine of going to the gym after work, either cooking dinner or grabbing something on the way home, watching tv/reading and just relaxing. I love to cook (always clean up after myself!), have a glass of wine and watch a good movie/the occasional reality tv show. I also love sports and grew up watching hockey and football so I like to have an occasional game on, or even better go to a game!
If you’re interested in looking for an apartment with me or want to know anything more send me an email with a little about yourself and the apartment you are looking for.
Thanks!
Laura
