I’m an trained residential architect with extensive skills in the construction trades. I worked my way through architecture school doing high-end residential & retail construction

A native New Yorker, I’m looking to move back to the city on a tight budget and exchange my background and skills for short term housing/space until I find a permanent place..

…….I am also skilled in detailed restoration work. As a residential architect I have hands on experience in construction management, design/layouts, and NYC building codes analysis. I have designed & worked on Harlem brownstones, Park Avenue penthouses, Greenwich CT. estates, and tight budgeted tenement rehabs. Brownstones and pre-war interiors especially. I’m a life-long New York resident, and know a wide variety of suppliers, workers,contractors, homeowners ….etc..

In addition to getting a skilled tradesman, you would also be getting a skilled architect who knows proper methods and materials, property value enhancing design solutions,and someone who knows how to do “proper” work (safe/code compliant), and also improvise (to get things safely done) on a budget with timely professionalism. I’m also a relaxed and easy guy to work with by nature…:) I enjoy putting things together whether on a computer,on paper, or with my own hands and tools. I would be very happy to show examples of my past design & built work, and discuss possible arrangements.

I am looking for a temporary housing/work/income solution, but would be willing to discus other possibilities, including extended/other project work, or a possible longer term housing situation.
