I’m a 27-year-old gay teacher in need of some potential roommates to go apartment hunting with. Ideally I’m looking for something in Hell’s Kitchen or on the UWS, and I hope that between the roommates we can find a nice, possibly luxury apartment.

I work for the Department of Education, and am usually out of the apartment from 7 until 8 each day. I enjoy having friends over for dinner, drinks, movies, etc. Also, because I work with kids, I have more patience than most and prefer to keep things neat, organized, and presentable.

If you’re new to the city, or have a lease ending soon like I do, hit me up so we can start our search together.

I am going to be a transfer student to CUNY for Spring 2012.

I am looking to move in mid-Feb 2012 or March 2012.

I am very clean, honest, courteous.

I work as a personal assistant to a public accountant, and will begin working in

a pharmacy again soon.

I am not home during the day often, unless I’m doing research.

I study languages, write, and dance.

People find me to be an interesting roommate, for sure.

I am arriving from Paris in the end of January, and am hoping to find a

place by March. To note, I do not mind renting in a place with many

people, as long as there is the a notion of privacy and respect among

The rent is negotiable; I am willing to pay between 700-850. I am a licensed New York teacher, currently working as a tutor. I also play guitar and give guitar lessons (I am working on building my lessons’ business). I was told Sunday (Jan 1st), I have to move out of the room I am renting, because it is being converted into an office space. I am seeing who is looking for a roommate and where I may be a good fit. I can move in February 1st. I prefer to have just one other roommate. I strongly prefer to stay between the North End of Central Park and St. Nicholas Park in Harlem, but I am open to live anywhere that will work. A little about me, I am great with dogs, hold a Master’s of Education, and need to move somewhere I can practice acoustic guitar, I also hold 2 teaching licenses— one in the State of New York and one in Hawaii.
