Moving from Texas is washerdryer too much
I’m moving from Texas to Manhattan late June 2012 and just started to look online. I’ll be coming for 1 week in May and was hoping I’d be able to find a no fee but maybe with the distance/time constraints that’s unrealistic. How easy is it to find an apt with a washer/dryer in unit? I haven’t seen many that offer this. Anyone know specific buildings that have w/d in unit? I’m looking at UES, Midtown East, Chelsea, Gramercy or Union square area. True 1 bedroom/bath with a budget of $3500 and a small dog. Any help is appreciated![b]

1500 Rommates Wanted for Feb 15March 1st Move In
Hi,
I am a young (mid-20’s) professional female looking for a roommate or rommates (male or female) to look for an apartment together for a Feb15/March 1st move in date. I work in investment banking in Midtown and would like to live in the East Village, Murray Hill, Chelsea, Gramercy or LES. I am not opposed to UES, as long as it is close to downtown transportation to make the commute easy in the morning! I currently live in a large studio and have found that living alone in the city is pretty boring and extremely expensive. The max rent that I would like to spend is 1500 though I can go a little higher for the right place. I live in a luxury doorman building now and have found that a doorman in the city is really not necessary, an elevator is key though!
About me: I like to go out on the weekends, have a lot of friends all over Manhattan and I like to explore difference neighborhoods. I don’t have people over to party and am very low key during the week sticking to a pretty usual routine of going to the gym after work, either cooking dinner or grabbing something on the way home, watching tv/reading and just relaxing. I love to cook (always clean up after myself!), have a glass of wine and watch a good movie/the occasional reality tv show. I also love sports and grew up watching hockey and football so I like to have an occasional game on, or even better go to a game!
If you’re interested in looking for an apartment with me or want to know anything more send me an email with a little about yourself and the apartment you are looking for.
Thanks!
Laura
