9th street is tree-lined, charming and is one of the best blocks for restaurants and new store openings.
It’s only a block away from St. Marks Place – which is the main street of the neighborhood.

The studio apartment is 260 square feet, on the 2nd floor, has tall ceilings, original fireplace, hardwood floors and large windows.
There is a 32′ flat-screen TV, home theater system, a desktop computer.
In the kitchen area is a stove, fridge, coffee maker, espresso machine, toaster.
The bed is Queen size and brand new. Linens are provided.
The bathroom has a full bathtub and a shower.
Towels and linens are provided. There is AC in the apartment.

High speed wireless internet is provided and also Cable TV with HBO.

The studio is a completely separate, private apartment, you will not be sharing it with anyone. 2 people maximum. No pets. No smoking.

The rate is $175 per night, all-inclusive; there are no additional cleaning charges or fees.
I accept payment upon arrival, when I meet you to give you the keys. I do not take an advance deposit.
Available in November.

To all the apartment hunters: I feel your pain. I’ve been part of the hunt for so long, it’s been brutal, and I know this sucks. But I have found the gem we’ve all been waiting for, and I would love to share it with some awesome people!

NOTE: I AM GETTING A LOT OF RESPONSES SO PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU REPLY—MOVE-IN IS NOVEMBER 1ST & RENT IS $1700 PER ROOM.

ABOUT THIS SWEET PAD:
A beautiful 3 Bedroom with 2 BATHROOMS, some exposed brick in bedrooms (painted white, so not the usual red/brown), SPACIOUS, high ceiling apartment with everything NEWLY RENOVATED, right at Avenue C and 8th St, my personal favorite area of the East Village, right by Tompkins Square Park. To me it seems too good to be true…but it’s not!

The bedrooms are all pretty much equal–each have a window, a closet, and are large enough for queen sized beds. There is a brand new kitchen area, spacious living room (especially for Manhattan) and 2 full-sized clean & adorable bathrooms (I was so shocked at how cute these are–I almost want to set up camp in the bathtub). It’s a 5th floor walkup–could be a downside for some, but i see it as a bonus since i hate the gym.

ABOUT ME:
I am 26 very fun, friendly, easygoing lady. I like to chat and hang with my roommates, but also like to have our own space and privacy too. I am a musician and comedian with a varied schedule, some days I’m out till late, some days I’m around the house writing, playing music, and performing free interpretive dance shows (that last part has yet to happen, but you never know). I’m very clean, not anal, but definitely into having dishes washed and cleanliness maintained…on our own initiative, none of this cleaning schedule or chart-making business.

YOU:
Ideally, someone mid 20-30’s, also artistically inclined, perhaps we can make laughs and/or sweet music together. Or if you have your own special artsy thing you do, like painting neon clown faces on chairs…that’s cool too. Must have a good sense of humor and be chill, NO PASSIVE AGGRESSIVENESS- I like being open and honest, with no drama. Male or female, straight or not, don’t really care, as long as you’re cool, respectful and we get along.
