The apartment is quiet, clean, pleasant atmosphere, gets plenty of sunlight

Private, quiet room for rent in an elevator building. These are the characteristics:
- interior room dimensions: 14.5 x 10.5
- separate reach in closet
- corner bedroom with two windows
- one window has view of empire state building
- rent includes Internet, basic cable, and utilities
- laundry machines in apt for your convenience
- we welcome people of all sexual orientations and ethnicities, however, there is a preference for someone who can speak and/or write Chinese
- we are looking for someone who is cooperative and considerate
- there is also a strong preference for someone who can stay a year or longer
- semi-furnished with desk, wall closet, utility cart, and book shelves

Some house rules:
- no overnight guests except another female and only very occasionally
- quiet hours are between 11:30pm and 7:30am, so no using the laundry machines during these hours
- no smoking, no drugs, no pets
- no parties
- rent is due before the beginning of the month

The apartment is about 900 square feet, so it is not a railroad apartment.
You will have access to a living room and an eat in kitchen. It is fully furnished with tile floors. You will be sharing the three-bedroom apartment with an older woman. This apartment is in the Two Bridges Neighborhood, next to the Lower East Side and Chinatown.

As is standard, please be ready with the first month’s rent, the last month’s rent, and the security deposit. If you are a good roommate fit, you will also need to pay for a basic background check. Please note that you need to let us know at least 30 days before you plan to move out; there is also no monthly pro-rating of the rent. The rental price, house rules, and rental policies are non-negotiable. Roommate fit is important to us and we’d like to stay a peaceful place.

This is an open loft space that can comfortably accommodate 1-3 guests. There is one loft bed comfortable for two, and a futon available for use in the main part of the loft. There is a kitchen and one full bathroom. With very large windows and on the top floor of the building, the loft has lots of light.

On the second floor of the building is a gym available to guests at reduced day rates.
In the heart of the extremely vibrant and hip Nolita/SOHO part of Manhattan, the loft is also only a few blocks from Greenwich Village, The Lower East Side, Chinatown, Noho, and Little Italy. It is short walk to many major subway lines including the F, V, B, 6, N and R trains.

This is a really great accommodation for 1-3 guests and in a fabulous location.

The home is a 2 bedroom railroad apartment in the heart of Little Italy, Manhattan. We have two birds and a cat, they are happy.
